Help Your Baby “Sleep Through The Night”

…orrrrr the closest we can get, because let’s be real:
none of us actually sleep through the night.

Even if you plan on breastfeeding, you may decide that giving your baby bottles from time to time will give you some freedom. Maybe you are planning on returning to work and you’ll be pumping or you just want to be able to leave your breastfed baby with another person from time to time. There are lots of things you can do to support your baby in accepting a bottle. Let’s take a look.

Drowsy but awake is popular advice- but is it actually based in evidence and does it actually work?

The newborn world is full of should we/shouldn’t we questions and one that pops up frequently is the question of swaddles.

I am often asked by friends how to best support a breastfeeding mother during the newborn phase in order to get her the much-needed rest her postpartum body desperately requires.

Expecting a baby soon? I find all those “lists” about registry items, hospital bags, etc. to be super overwhelming. So I’ve put together a list of my absolute favorite things besides the obvious of car seat, crib & stroller. It can be so overwhelming when prepping for your baby to arrive home! Especially as a […]

Is there a certain time of day with your baby that you just dred? If you have a baby who consistently gets fussy in the evenings, then I’m here to teach you all about “the witching hour”. What is the witching hour? The witching hour is a time in the evening, generally between 5 pm […]

Want to be prepared for newborn sleep? SPOILER ALERT: It’s a shit show. Let’s take a trip down memory lane. Otto (my first baby) was NOT an easy baby. I think I got one photo of him laying in his bassinet at the beginning- and I’m not kidding- that was the first and only time […]
